Name:Henry Dupont
Bio
Round pegs in square holes tend to have dangerous thoughts about the social system and to infect others with their discontents

-Aldous Huxley, "Brave New World"

Henry Dupont, to put it bluntly, is a round peg for a round hole-with the potential to be square.

Before explaining his history however, a brief background of Libria must be illustrated.

First there was Nothing.
Nothing being a little nation that fought three world wars and was essentially Rome and Babaylon Reborn. Nothing that killed millions, slaughtered billions, all for the sake of a few thousand deaths and the very idea that precious red blood of their side had been spilled in the gutter.

After the day of fire (This was the unanimous name called by scholars of Xylxy and Entropia along with Libria-to-be) In which the entire world watched a nuclear holocaust unfold across what was Africa people broke-the nation of the United States broke. All Countries retreated to lick their wounds terrified by the horror that was wrought upon the world.

Entropia however couldn’t keep it’s hands in it’s pockets so to speak, so they attacked the US Capitol repeatedly until it’s destruction, leaving the major cities to govern themselves and promising “A return of law and order as soon as government was rebuilt-

Which cities had no intention of doing.
One by one the cities themselves fell to Entropia From the West and Xyxyl from the east-both countries laying waste to them and moving on. Only Libria-New York that was-remained to oppose them. Even against the rumors that Entropians drank blood from the skulls of their enemies-
And against Xyxyl’s dragons.

Xyxyl had once been the nations of Russia, Japan, and china. Uniting during the third worldw ar to support the United States the three collaborated on a secret project. A project that Japan and China had been working on for years together they bred the perfect soldier. children culled at birth from the general population and trained in specially designed weaponry and martial arts.

These were the dragons.
The dragons were like nothing human and Libria, desperate, matched soldiers freshly back from the wars. A few had been captured by Xyxylians so it fell to teach these new Librians the art of “Gun Kata” choosing to excel in this the Cleric Order was formed, comprised of men and women who served the City Council, Also known as the Second Councillary.

The Second Councillary was later overthrown thanks to a mysterious figure known only as the “Red Lion” and a group of dissenting Clerics who supported councilman Tuttle’s campaign and ideals. The social fabric of Libria had begun deteriorating, made worse by the destruction of cities by Xyxyl and Entropia. Librians were introduced to a mandated dose and they accepted it regularly.

This is the world of the third Councillary.
Of Father, and of Cleric John Preston.

The Second Councillary of the Tetragrammaton before it was overthrown by Councilman Tuttle who then set himself into place as Father recognized that in order for a society to be successful it’s leaders must have a grasp of the citizens needs, and therefore they must eel to be fully aware of them. Because of that, Young Dupont was born lucky. He was one of the few children in libria who started out feeling.

Councillary positions are heredititary, so Henry Dupont as the oldest son was born to the position of Monestary headmaster as well as the direct representative for the mysterious and reclusive Father. Taught in secret by the Arch-Clerics who worked for his father, Dupont was returned to the monestary at eight, two years after instruction as a novitiate was sceduled to begin. Dupont was primarily instructed as a child on hiding his emotions from others.

He passed through the monestary with flying colors, taking on a second-class partner named Errol Partridge when he was 28, the youngest Cleric to make first-class until John Preston several years later. He and Partridge had a successful record, (once again the most successful until Partridge himself and his second-class partner Preston) However Dupont retired from the actual order after insuring that Partridge was promoted to First-Class Cleric.

Dupont is totally devoted to Libria, but unlike Preston his is a willing devotion. While he believes in his father’s idea that “They are the children that we must protect,” (And by Children we refer to all of Libria)Dupont has grown accustomed to his power and prestige. He belives himself the final final line of defense between father and a swift death.

While in canon father was dead (Dupont taking his place) Father is very much alive. Dupont is sort of a body-guard to the infamous librian leader, and a chief advisor.
